    Problem with a G4 450 AGP installing 10.4x

    Did you check if your Mac required a firmware (Boot ROM version in System Profiler) update. Mac OS X: Available firmware updates http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=86117 If an update is required, the update must be installed (using OS 9) BEFORE you install OS X. Cheers, Tom ;)

    Tiger install DVDs are in short supply. Tiger is no longer available at the Apple Store but is still available for $129 by calling Apple Phone Sales @ 1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753). For other sources, do a Google search for MA453Z/A and M9639Z/A . Also look on eBay. Be sure & buy a retail...

    iBook not booting -- have I tried everything?

    I hope you did not run Norton Disk Doctor on your HD!!!!!!!!! Norton is obsolete, no longer being supported & should NEVER be run on a HD with OS X installed. Norton will corrupt the directory where sometimes DiskWarrior cannot fix. Cheers, Tom
