iPhoto install problems - what have i done?

iPhoto's been causing me lots of brain damage lately, so I trashed it, with the intent of re-installing it. But when I put my iLife 05 DVD in and choose to Customize the install, iPhoto is grayed-out. It's not an option for me to install. What files might I be missing or how can I get it...

    FS: 17" Powerbook 1ghz 1.5gb Ram

I'm looking for $1700, but I'm flexible. The system recently (within the last couple months) had the screen replaced via applecare due to bright spots when I bought it - so the screen is just about BRAND NEW. There's applecare left on it until April 2006 Ram is 1.5gb, there are 2...

    Korn Shell in Tiger?

According to the new Tiger features page, the Korn Shell will be the new unix shell in OS X. When is Apple going to settle on one shell? It's the subtle nuances that drive me crazy across the shells, and while I'm not a total unix novice, it's still frustrating that they've changed the shell...

How much RAM can my 17" pb handle?

I thought it was maxed at 1gb, and couldn't take advantage of any ram over 1gb. (I have the original 17" btw) But when I go to crucial, it shows the 1gb ships as especially suited for my 1ghz 17" pb. leads me to believe I can cram 2gb of RAM in there if I want to fok over the almost $1000...
