aiff on ipod ?

Hi i wonder if some one can help just down loaded a load of interviews to take on holiday put them in itunes works fine downloaded them on to ipod fine went to play them not fine it run through the interviews then go's straight back to the play list with out playing them, Q. do they have to be mp3 files to play on the ipod at the momet tey are aiff. files if any one helps that would be great thanks.:(
 
I have an aiff that works fine on the iPod. I dunno why yours won't play. Try highlighting the song in iTunes, go to advanced and click convert selection to acc. then move it into the iPod.

If its an interview, I bet its in a mono, 22k format. Maybe the Aiff needs to be in 44k 16bit stereo to be considered a playable audio file? soundapp can convert it for you.
