Hello Mac Expert,
I am writing close to tears! I recently move to Bermuda, and am trying to connect all my computer stuff. In NY, I had my powerbook and my bf's PC hooked up through the airport extreme via a road runner router.
In Bermuda, there is no such thing as road runner or DSL. There is however, a thing called easyconnect (which comes with a router looking thing). It connects via PPPoE/ISP.
The thing is, I have been able to connect the easyconnect aparatus to the airport extreme's WAN port, and my powerbook now has wireless internet! Success, I thought...but then the plot thickened. When I tried to connect my PC (ethernet port) to the airport extreme via the the airport extreme's LAN port, it did not work as the PC still has no internet!!!
What am I doing wrong? Perhaps the PC shouldn't be connected to the airport extreme, but instead, to the easyconnect aparatus? If this is the case, then I am royally screwed as the easyconnect aparatus only has one ethernet hole.
Please reply before I drown myself in the beautiful Bermuda waters!
Thank You,
Andrea
