Looking for progress
Does anyone here use Fire for their IMing needs?

If so, is there a way to turn off the stupid mail notifications? They are driving my nuts!

Any help would be great.

i did use it for a long time. and i remember i took the email notifications off in it.
 
as i don't have fire right now, i have forgotten. email feedback, you normally get the answer from the programmers very fast. i *think* the option was in the accounts (from accounts window, click the account options you like, and unchoose the "notify of new mail"? i'm not 100% sure it's there, it could be also in options.. :-/ )

Giaguara is right... From the "accounts" window, click on the account you wish to edit, click "edit" and deselect "Show email alerts"
 
Yes, it is under the Accounts window. Pick the account that is bugging you with the mail notifications, and choose "edit". There is a checkbox at the bottom for mail notifications.
