FS: Toshiba PC Notebook

I know i know this is a Mac forum, but i'm hoping someone has some use for this notebook computer...i'm selling it real cheap.

History: My brother's old comp, he got a shiny new laptop for law school, so he has no need for this, and neither do i because i have my wonderful PowerBook :)


Had some overheating issues, but it was acknowledged by Toshiba and they released a BIOS update that has fixed the problem. Hasn't overheated once since. No longer under warranty.

-2.6 GHz Intel Celeron CPU
-512 MB SDRAM PC2700
-40 GB HD
-15" screen (no scratches or dead pixels)
-XP Home installed. XP Home sticker on bottom of case
-DVD-Rom/CD-RW Combo drive
-Battery
-AC Adaptor

It's never been dropped. Water, or any liquid has never been spilled on it. It is in very good condition.

If it was a Pentium I'd consider it, but Celerons are the worst, at least AMD's low cost processors (Duron, Sempron) still pack a wallop (why did apple deal with the devil and go with intel, AMD along with Apple combined with ATI would be the perfect computer)
