As instructed in the latest MacWorld insert by Robin Williams, I set a up a second user on my Mac G4 in order to enable Windows file sharing. Everything works great, as I am able to login to the second users folders from my PC and copy files to the drop box.

The problem I have is that I can't get to the secondary users drop box on the Mac while I am logged on as the primary admin user. When I try to open the drop box it tells me I don't have permission. Shouldn't the Admin user have permission to go anywhere they want.

How do you fix this??

Thanks for any help.

BTW it's a Mirror G4 dual1gz, 1.5 gb ram, OSX 10.2.3

On the drop box icon, use information and set the permission. I believe if you are admin, although on someone else's drop box, you can put files their, can't delete them or open the drop box. I could be wrong, I believe that is the deal with drop boxes.
