login window

does anyone know how to alter the login window? Using Visage I can alter the background image that the window lies upon, and the little icon on it, but not the window's dimension and image itself.

any ideas?

Try this example of a login replacement from Resexcellence:

It is a wide panaorama of Chicago, so it is a good example of creating a non-standard login panel. (I think the main thing is editing the login.nib file to reflect the desired size.)
