Last friday I got a call from NextByte, and first off the salesman says "Now, you ordered the dual 2 Gig right, not the 2.5..?". "Yes.." "Oh, cool, i'll ring you back"..
Thirty minutes later, he rings back "Ok, cool. It's here, the extra memory is going in as we speak (they installed extra memory at the store cus it's cheaper), when do you want to pick it up??

Whoo Hoo Baby! Taking the day off work thursday this week to go pick it up, then go to a friends place to make all my pc-loving friends foam at the lips like rabbid dogs!

It was a bit disconcerting when he said "you did want a dual 2 gig right? cool. i'll call you back!"

After the earlier confusion (he thought i wanted radeon 9600 in a ex-demo/firesale model) it was a bit of a "oh my god, what the hell is going on here" moment..
