Heya all.. First of all, please excuse my ignorance and head me in the right direction iff i'm just posting previously resolved questions...
Here it is...
I am having a lot of trouble getting a new iMac to wake from sleep on a modem ring under OS X - but here's where it gets weird... If the cute little thing goes to sleep (or is put to sleep) and you check it by ringing it... walla - it wakes up - like a good little Mac!
... But when this happens and you leave it for, say, half an hour to an hour (or More) you can keep on ringing and ringing and it will not wake up... this is frustrating as we use the mac to answer faxes. All Day! everything is good under 9... all works prop. and we have had to resort to os 9 to answer faxes... but this sux! anyhow... i think it is more likely OS X to blame than Fax STF for OS X...
Oh Yeah... and I tried setting the machine to not sleep at all, but rather just kill the display and harddisk... and guess what... same effect (this i found uber-odd)
Any help or confirmation of this problem would be muchly appreciated....
