repairing Permissions

Everytime i run repair permissions the same files come up. No matter how many times in a row I do it.

They are:

./Library/Colorsync/Profiles/Displays
./Library/Colorsync/Profiles
./private/var/at/jobs
./private/var/at/spool

any ideas why this would constantly need to be repaired, even if I just repaired???

Those messages are safe to ignore. If you notice, Disk Utility doesn't say that those files had their permissions repaired -- it only says that "We are using special permissions for the file ..." or something to that tune.

There should be another one in there about some file with "iso9660" or similar in the name. It's safe as well, and will always show.

Some or all of these messages appear because Apple "patched" some security holes in the OS with special, non-standard permissions for certain files and folders. It's just an alert to inform you of what those permissions are.
