Security update killed Internet Sharing

I set up my G4 running OSX 10.2.8 to share its broadband Internet connection with my PC running W2k with service pack 4.

After installing the latest security patch on the G4 I can no longer get the PC to see the Internet or access the G4. If I browse from IE5 on the PC it reports "Cannot find Server or DNS error".

My G4 is connected to VDSL cable via the internal ethernet and to the rest of my local ethernet network via a PCI ethernet card. I have personal and internet sharing on.

I can see and browse the PC from the G4 but not the G4 from the PC anymore. I am mystified as to what has changed to cause this. Any suggestions?

Couple of questions. Is the PC connected via DHCP? This isn't clear from your post. If it is, try setting up the connection again from your PC. I remember having to run the Internet Connection Wizard occasionally to get my Mac and PC to work together.
