I took a paperclip of of some papers and threw it on my desk. I heard it make a couple of weird clangy sounds. I looked over and noticed that it was stuck on the grill of one of the speakers in my soundsticks. It turns out that the speakers in soundsticks are magnetic. Weird.
yep, speakers have magnets in them. always have as long as i can remember. it's why you should leave media like floppies, zips, vhs tapes, etc. around any speakers as they might get erased.
Hehe...one day I was listening to music and my subwoofer (sits on my desk right next to my iBook) suddenly sucked a paperclip (almight CD-ejector) right up under the subwoofer...it was wierd. At first I thought I had somehow done something. lol.
