Client iMac is 10.6.2 and server is Snow Leopard Server 10.6.2. Of the 5 client machines, only 1 does not search the server. How come?
In a previous unanswered question, this same computer takes about 10 minutes to authenticate to this same server when clicking on the computer name in the Sidebar under "Shared". However, if I connect to the server via Go > Connect to server..., then it authenticates immediately (using the IP address). I've checked my DNS settings but everything looks correct. Do you think there is any relation? Does Spotlight rely on Bonjour to search network volumes?
