there HAS to be something wrong with my graphics card!

I have an ATI Rage 128 and when I display the iTunes visualizer at high quality I get 1fps!! And with low quality I get 2fps!! Before I remember got around 7fps...
I have the latest ATI drivers...
I know it's a old card but what the heck??
Can someone with the same card please check their framerate in iTunes too?

It's not something wrong with your graphics card, it's poor implementation of visuals in iTunes.

I get around 1 fps, too, with full screen turned on at high quality.

Not that I'm missing anything. :rolleyes:
 
did you try checking the "faster, rougher display" option in itunes? perhaps it was toggled off and you had it on before?

yes i'm sure about that
when i toggle "faster but rougher" now I get 2fps... I remember I had around 14fps with that setting before...
 
1 fps?
i usually get 14-17 fps in iTunes with full screen.
i have an iMac DVSE 500, with the usual ATIRage128.
i use the last 10.1.5

I think that the iTunes visuals are software rendered - it has nothing to do with your graphic card.
