I just got myself a copy of The Sims 3, and lo and behold, it doesn't work. I put in the disk, click on the installer, and after a second or two, it just says "The Sims 3 Installer quit unexpectedly". I've tried relaunching countless times, rebooting, rebooting in safe mode, re-downloading and...
