Well, I found out what will fix this. I'm posting the solution here so that others will benefit... Evidently, there is somethign wrong in my Fonts Folder (OS 9x). By moving it out of my System Folder and into my Drive's root, I could restart in OS X and use apps without any problem. I can't...
