I have a powermac g4, dual 1.25 (ancient). lots of video work. when i try to copy large file size (>20gb) to an external drive the copy stalls and only a hard reset can restart it. i am copying from a firewire (400 port) to a pci based firewire 800 port. i have never had this problem...
