yep I did all the PRAM flushing and disk repairings but they dont work..
10.2 does work on its own as a clean install I just cant install any updates to it. Also Software Update crashes when I go and try to download them throu it, so I cant do much system updates, I can just download app...

Anyways, before I formated it and reinstall the clean install, I just ran the 10.2.6 combo thats when I got that "multi-lingual - hold power button" message. But I only get as far as the Apple logo now after doing it from a clean installed OS.

Its a blue and white iMac, thats the thing I only have a standard apple keyboard that came with it plugged in.
