It's the same thing with me... i dont need to get proteus or anything cause ALL of my friends are on AIM... i would have absolutely no one except AIM friends on Proteus... I am again very glad that apple is making iChat on AIM cause thats what everyone i know has... The Mac Geekette

I use adium,.... via AIM... i would use some other one like yahoo but all of my friends and people i know use aim or aol...! so what would be the point of using some other service if i know no one on it?? i am glad apple is doing iChat on AIM! The Mac Geekette

I have ATT broadband internet service... i think my dad pays 50 a month and he sas its worth it... my internet is very very fast... and it gives us email addresses with no extra charge! (unlike some people lately) This gave me an alternative after my .mac account was ripped away from me...

Ok, Ive got the idea that i SHOULD back up... but the question for me is how? I mean i could write all of my stuff to CDs or whatever... but wouldnt that take up a lot of CDs... and time? Is there a better way to do it? Is it absolutely necessary for ALL of my stuff? What is the essential stuff...
