My problem has finally been resolved! Someone from another forum got the right suggestion (and I did call Apple Care earlier today and they never found the problem...they suggested me to call Motorola). I entered the DNS I was seeing from the PC in the Mac settings and voilà! it worked :)

I have been trying to resolve this problem by myself for the last 5 days (by googling and reading forums) but nothing works so here I am.
