Thank you for the quick reply! While in OS X mode I partitioned a Maxtor hard drive into 5 partitions. 3 were formatted for the Mac and 2 were formatted for the PC. All 5 partitions are accessible in OS X but none appear when I switch to windows xp. I created the partitions using a firewire...

When I use Parallels to open Windows xp it fails to recognize any peripherals such as an external hard drive or memory stick. I assume that this is due to some setting that I am failing to set. I would appreciate any suggestions.
