Went to the WD site several times and couldn't find anything Mac or Firmware related. He's thinking of going back to Panther anyway. Any chance of that fixing the problem?

My roommate just installed Tiger on his 450Mhz Cube with a 1.2Ghz Sonnet upgrade processor. He did a clean install. Now his Western Digital 120gig Firewire drive spins non-stop, with the red light staying on the whole time. Only way to stop it, seems to be to unmount it. Any thoughts...

I have the D-Link DBT-120 and i get the same message. I have version B3. Daniel
