    Sorry for the delayed response here. Here is a capture of the Disk Activity tab. My Adobe programs are set to use less than 70% of memory, but the problems arise even when ALL Adobe applications, and Final Cut Studio are closed. I can have only Safari open and the scrolling/dragging lag...

    Here is a screen capture of my Activity Monitor. I'm not really sure how to read it, but it doesn't look like any sirens are going off. Yet I still get terrible lag. Any other theories?

    I have a Mac Pro. Processor: 2 x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon, Memory: 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM. My hard drive says Capacity: 465.44 GB, Available: 90.6 GB.

    They occur even when I only have one simple web browser running or one small file open in an application, and all other applications closed. It seems to be independent of how much I have going on or how many programs are working. I'm on OS 10.5.8.
