Afraid that's going to happen a lot until OS X is (very) well established, and pre-OS X products are completely off the shelves.
Rule of thumb: if it doesn't say OS X on the box, it's not going to work natively. Software developers will very much want to make sure the big blue X is visible on...
bankmann, are you getting the DNS problems with OmniWeb by any chance? I've had that a couple times myself since upgrading, but if I switch to iCab or IE (without reconnecting) I don't have the problem.
Well, now that I've got 10.0.4, it's stopped disconnecting by itself.
Now, I have to click "disconnect" all by myself every time the connection suddenly stops working.

You don't have to use OS X's Software Update to get 10.0.2 - boot into OS 9 and download it from VersionTracker.
It helps a bit for me at least (DP 500), but the problem isn't gone yet. It seems either I disconnect after just a few minutes, or else I can stay on for well over an hour, maybe more.
