Well,
I zapped com.apple.finder.plist and rebooted and still the same problem. I had to rm it through Terminal.
Did some more tooling around and realized that I also can't boot into safe mode for some reason. Rebooted a few more times after trying to diagnose the problem and this happened...
Strange problem I'm having. I've looked all over nearly every forum, and have found some related issues, but nothing like whats going on with my Finder.
