although you can change the password from "System Pref" you cannot change the username from the same interface.

iLife does come with os 10.4 when you buy a new apple system (Powerbook, ibook, PowerPC, etc,.). I too was disappointed now that I have to buy iLife ... or reinstall it from 10.3 just for iPhoto (the only application i use in the entire iLife suite. ::evil::
