Yes in the 'Information' box, down-left corner, when I change the 'title', I can find it in SpotLight. iPhoto 5.0.4 in OS X 10.4.3- FredB7

Slow Open/save File Dialog System Wide
Do you have an iDisk? I had the same problem, everything in my system was fast except open/save dialogs. Disabling "iDisk Syncing" solved it. (in "System Preferences", ".mac", "iDisk"). Took me months to figure it... Grrr. Hope this helps...- FredB7

I just tried and it works here... But you have to quit iPhoto before Spotlight can find the new name.- FredB7
