I recently purchased an Imac from ebay with os10.2.8. I have a printer that is only compatible with os10.3 or higher. I have the install disks for 10.3.5 from my ibook. When I put the 10.3.5 install disk in the imac running 10.2.8 the cd just get kicks back out. I know that my cd drive works...
