Thanks for your advise.I believe the problem is terminal and not cost effective to have it repaired and I have decided to invest in a new printer as suggested by DeltaMac Thanks for your help though garvinjones

My Epson stylus Photo 890 has a fault. Both red and green lights continue to flash when the printer is switched on. The printer was working fine and then after starting a new batch of printing the above fault occured and now I cannot get the printer to work
