My old PC/laptop was stolen............looks like the hours I spent transfering all my CD's is lost.........:(

I have a 20 GB I-Pod, and was trying to move all my music files to my new PC. In the process I managed to syn my I-Pod with my new PC which had no files in I-Tunes, therefore my I-Pod now has no files........... :( Is there a way to restore my I-Pod? Thanks........from the newbie.
