I tried that (holding "c") with an OS CD. It never went past the apple icon. This is too strange.

I updated iTunes and QuickTime and was required to reboot. My G4 has not been able to boot up since. There farthest I have gotten is to a blank solid blue screen after the apple icon. I have tried: CMD + S while restarting Shift Key while restarting. CMD + OPT + P + R CMD + OPT + Shift +...
