No one else has had similar problems? I have a friend who has the earlier model with 100mb port instead of the gigabit ones. He has not had my problem but was able to downgrade to an earlier version to fix many other issues with the airport disk. 7.2 is as far back as i can go with this model.

Yes I am sharing a single address and i do have the NAT mapping protocol turned on. Transmission also says there was a error mapping the port using NAT-PMP. I also tried putting my slingbox ip address in as the the default host which should open all ports to it but that didnt work either.

No I dont think that would work because the standards are different in fiber. For example if your card is 100Mb/FX on one side then i think it would have to be the same on the other. There are many different types of gigabit fiber links and I believe they all operate on different wavelengths...

It runs fine of the ethernet. There isnt any mac address filtering on the router, just Wep encryption.

Yeah i tried making a new location. I dont know if the card is locked to B or not. I dont know how to check if it is. Even if it was it should work either way, the AP has both a B and a G radio.

Powerbook is a 15" | 1.33 Ghz with Airport extreme. I ran the system updater and tried manually downloading the lastest Airport drivers. Its just strange that the first Powerbook I had worked perfectly and this one cant see the network at all.
