Did you put new screen savers in your screensavers directory?

I know, just use Command-N and make a new window for every folder on your hard drive and put each one in the dock, then you will never have to close the folders, so your icons will never move. ;) Man, why didn't I think of that before? Anyway, I've had the same problem with frustrating...

That too, but the volume brightness conrols WILL work, apparently with a neat-o looking transluscent status bar/feedback thingy.

I've had the same thing happen. The icon works just like a dock icon, but it is stuck outside of it. Kind of strange. I just restarted the dock with force wuit I think or using kill, I don't remember which. you can also just quit the program and then open it again.

The link I referred to that began this thread has been removed by Apple. Another sign that Apple does not plan to release 9.2 as an update? Things seem to be leaning towards a 10.1/9.2 release if 9.2 is to be released at all. Although rumors have it that new iMacs are already shipping with 9.2.

By the way, the above link is interesting reading, especially the part about classic loading in ... 2 bounces!

Looks like Apple plans to release 9.2 with 10.1. Perhaps it was planned that the G4 would also have 10.1 but plans fell short. Look at: http://www.macosx.org/5D15.html Seems the prebuild even packages 9.2 with 10.1. But, I guess that still doesn't rule out the possibility that 9.2...

I believe that Jobs announced at Macworld Expo that 10.1 should fix this.

I am sure Steve would have loved to walk out there yesterday and introduce new upgrades and form-factors in every product he could. What you've got to remember is that he is bound by how fast Apple's engineers can work. Jobs was probably just as disappointed as we were that the new stuff...

I went to the apple 9.1 update page and clicked to download the software. Out of curiousity I changed the 91 to a 92 and found something interesting. Is this just here for later in the future, or is 9.2 sooner than Steve (didn't) suggest? http://www.info.Apple.com/validate/agree.taf?item=92...
