I got my Security Update 2004-05-24 via the Software Update Service, installed it, it said it completed the installation, but it doesn't show up in the Installed Updates pane. Did this happen to anyone else? G5, 1.6, 10.3.3

Indeed it requires 4.5. I would have thought the Upadter was smart enough to know that i didn't have 4.5. But i think Apple's ulterior motive is to get me to at last upgrade to 10.3.2 first (as that is reuired as well, I only have 10.2.8). Motivation to upgrade to Panther.

Keen insights by Andychrist. I did do something a while back with the mouse settings (there's only a couple of them, I didn't do anything abnormal) and I do have Fruitmenu installed. After I upgraded to IE 5.2.3 I didn't reboot and the problem remained. I rebooted - problem gone! Thanks all!
