The original install CD is still with me, but the attendent told me that there was a difference between formatting and zero-ing, but I haven't got a clue.

After updating to 10.1.5, I get the same mounting problems that some other users are getting. When I try to install an applicatin that requires a system folder, I usually get an error that says I do not have sufficient permission. Problem is, I only have one user added in my useraccounts list...
I've tried what Zammy-Sam suggested, and was initally able to print from OsX.
However, 2 days later (today) I am once again unable to print!!!
I tried printing from TextEdit, but print centre opens and it just says "Connecting to printer" ... and doesn't print at all =|

i'm thinking of doing the same thing, cept i'd prolly grab the fonts from the CD when i need 'em.
however, my problem atm is being unable to differenciate between the original osx system fonts from the new fonts i added.
