yep i tried that. no luck i would really love a step by step way of figuring this out. like i said. i am no developer. just a girl with a mac who wants to play her videos. :rolleyes:

hi everyone. i am also experiencing total frusturation with trying to play .avi files. i have tried all the fixes suggested. (vlc, converting files to divx) i converted the file to .divx, tried the works.. i can hear audio but no video. i'm not a developer..i just want to play my files without...
