Thanks for all of the info. I ultimately ran Norton first (as Disk Warrior would just hang) and then ran DW. After that the update ran just fine.

I've had installer problems, especially at the point of upgrading to 10.1.2. I'm not much of a Unix geek so my first line of defense is the old stand-by's like Norton and Disk Warrior. I've been able to fix this particular problem, on two different machines, by first running the latest version...
