    I don't see the problem personally. OK it may drop the battery life a little, but colour screens are dirt cheap o it wont affect the bottom line much. I recall well when everyone said they didn't want colour screens for their mobiles phones as it would lower the battery life and be pointless...

    Well, no-one really knows. It's based in Russia and therefore out of the jurisdiction of the RIAA. The Russian equivalent they claim to pay money to, making the site legal in Russia, and a Russian law loophole means they can distribute over the net. I've used it a couple of times to try it out...

    ffmpeg or mediapipe, quite sure the former works, latter's easier to use though. most likely though, the quality difference will show up if you're mixing between the wmv and dv formats.

    This format's not quite as 'apple' as some of you seem to think. I remember testing the format about 2-3 years ago on a pc, sonique was the main AAC player as I recall. Plenty of convertors at least.
