A few people have commented on the lack of documentation included with Mac OS X. I would like to point out that there is a 267 page BOOK in pdf format located on the developer tools CD. To access first install the Developer Tools onto your mac and then go into the Developer folder/Documentation...

Download OpenUp from http://www.versiontracker.com it can decompress tar, gar, ...etc files. Its a Cocoa app very easy to use. :O NDPTAL85
