dont worry about it - all I was trying to say was that to get the fonts working in those places (for me anyway) you have to drag the fonts onto the 'fonts' folder for them to work - if you open up the fonts folder and then drag them in - they wont activate - judt like on a pc. Its just a little...

yep - thats whats Im saying :-( - it also wont recognise folders within the fonts folder for me - the fonts have to be outside of folders :-(

Ive been struggling for ages trying to figure out how to use fonts in OSX - Ive just found out that you have to drag the fonts onto the actual fonts folder itself as opposed to inside the folder for them to work! yet another PC trate added to OSX :(

I have 3 partitions - 1 with OS9, 1 with OSX and one as a storage. Is it possible for me to use the desktop in the storage partition as the desktop that I see and drag things onto? this would be sooooo usefull, as I normally end up having to copy things from the desktop to the storage...

Is anyone having any problems with their internet connections? In OS9 mu internet connection works fine - logs on quickly never disconnects - but when I go into OSX it takes much longer to connect and then disconnects randonly! really anoying - I can only think that its software based :(...

Does anybody know if theres some kind of software that enables ou to create OSX folder icons? Does being a PDF format mean that I cant simply put a bmap into a folder icon? something that would enable me to put an illustrator image onto a folder would be good the reason I ask if because...

After upgrading to 9.2.2 I now have a load of duplicates in my extensions manager - the old ones have been disabled but is it ok for me to delete them? the old ones are simply versioned 'Mac OS Z-9.2.1' and the new ones are versioned 'Classic Compatibility Environment 1.6' is this normal?
