I have a wmv file linked from a webpage with the following code:
<a href="track3.wmv"> but however I try I cannot get the file to open in the quicktime player without the page it is linked from changing to a blank white page. Is there anyway to open the file in the player without the webpage...
I had a similar problem when copying a project from a server to my Mac. The quickest way I found was to drop the Quark file into the images folder, update links in usage and re-save the Quark file to the desired location. A pain I know but the best fix I could find.
Having tried FLVParser I found out it does not work well at all. Unfortunately it literally cuts the file with no regard to the compression...this results in the first few seconds of each segment being blocky due to the compression algorithm which works by updating the image in a frame based on...

Thanks for that Madelin, I'll give it a go. I have found a PC app called FLFParser which works through a DOS interface, one sets the duration of segments in a text and it rips through the file very quickly. I'm now trying to find my old version of Virtual PC.
Is there any way to automate splitting avi files into 10min segments. I've looked around but can only find PC apps. My end goal is to output FLV's. If I could find an app to split FLV's into 10min segments it would cut down a step in the process but again it seems only PC apps are available...
I have a project to convert several DVD's to flash format for streaming, this is no problem, but the clinet wants the video tagged with genre, artist, date, subject, keywords, etc. Does anyone know how to acheive this please.

In the other models one could simply remove the keyboard and there was the card, but I can't find where the card is on this model...does anyone know or can someone point me in the right direction please.
