Yes. you are absolutely right. I use VLC and the MKV files I wish to play back are 720p. I have try quicktime 7.6 and it seems to be able to cache the file before I hit play. Quicktime work better but still choppy. May be it is time to get an Intel Mac or look for a video converter to downsize...

Yes, I do. I think it might be caused by Cross Over. I remember I did not have this problem prior to the installation of Cross Over. Will uninstall and give it a go again. Thank you for your clue. Paul

Hi, Every-time I empty trash there will be an unknown item left in the trash that will not empty. Eventually I found out it will only go away if I select it and GET INFO. It always dated Jan 1, 1904, 6.55AM(see attached image). Any one have a solution to get rid of this? Thank You. Paul
