I just finished my first iMovie which ended up being about 6 minutes long, and a whopping 1.1 GB big! (In QT format) Is there a way to make this file any less space-consuming? I have Stuffit Deluxe, can I use that?
I've heard a lot about certain Macs being "underclocked" by Apple, and many people have said that a TiBook 550 can be overclocked to 667 MHz pretty easily. Anyone know if this is true? Also, my 550 only has a 100 MHz bus, and I'd like to overclock that to 133. Is this possible?
I just upgraded my Powerbook to 1 gig so I have the old 256 MB module that the Book came with. It's a 550 MHz/100 processor. I'll take any reasonable amount since I really don't need it anymore.
Here's another example:

There's tons of this stuff.
All the ads I saw were for either Intel, or Microsoft. That's whack! =D
Almost seems like Microsoft bought their support?
I admit that I didn't read the entire thread, so someone may have mentioned this already, but:
Has anyone else noticed the neverending cycle of Microsoft ads at the top of that page?
Right on mindbend! I think it's all about OS X - That's really what makes Apple a better system than Windows. I feel no need at all for a G5 5 gigahertz processor, I am just fine with my G4 550, and I probably would be with a G3 233 just as well, I love this operating system, and no one's ever...
Personally I think that the 12 incher is cooler than the 17" :)
And anyways... we all know where the keys go! I could type in the dark, blindfolded, with my hands cut off! Maybe...
For everyone - pbparts.com does indeed sell individual keys. They can be found under "case parts" as the last items in the lists. Pricey, at 5-20 dollars for a key. But better than a new keyboard.
(This market is a gold mine - If you're an entrepeneur, I'd start buying keyboards and selling...
It seems like these should be really simple to replace - all they are is little keys, I don't even want a new keyboard! If I just get new keys that aren't broken they will just pop back on.
