Say it isn't so! For many years now (as far as I know; I'm not an owner, but fully intended to buy a Macbook once Leopard arrived), you could drag a folder icon to the right-hand-side of the Dock, and then, with Control held down, could cascade though its subfolders without clicking. Gorgeous...
