Exact same problem here. Only everytime I attempt to change the login ID (to both gmail and a hotmail one) it fails. All my work contacts are on msn - this is very inconvenient.

My .mac login, already registered with windows live, is no longer allowed. I'm sent to a page where I'm asked to change my login id. I decided to use my gmail email. Put in details, click save and it errors with: Your secret answer must be at least 5 characters long. Please type a new answer...
