just had another look at quicktime ... and: yep, you can't loop sections ... If so, IT AIN'T FREE !!! By the way MisterMe, I think I was implying I want something similar to a DVD feature (...which is a video - not an audio feature) , if you want to play with semantics. ;-)

That feature is only included in quicktime PRO. It's not free. I want a simple set up. Using garageband to watch a video clip, sounds elaborate. Any more ideas for a free straight-forward media player with the feature I'm looking for ? I would appreciate the help.
