well, i do know that if i try to use the program 'fastdvdcopy' (which doesn't work, either) it does, indeed detect 'arccos protection', or something like that. i wonder if that is what the problem is... i have a program that will let me rip the dvd's to mp4s... is it possible to burn a dvd...
