What is happening is that when the room gets darker, so does the keyboard - and when the room gets brighter, so does the keyboard. That has got to be the wrong way round surely ???????

Hi all, I recently purchased a 17" MacBook Pro, but I have just realised that if I close the curtains (drapes in American English) the backlit keyboard actually dims instead of getting brighter - and if I open the Curtains / Drapes and let sunlight in, the backlit keyboard gets brighter ...
