Well going by what other power books are it should be panther but I been given tiger, everytime I try and install it it just comes up with restart system?????? I really need to know if this is a fault or just my doing I don't fancy paying out any more untill I know it's working ok that's all...

ok guys i have a power book g4 i want to put tiger on it how ever the dmg files i have every time i try and install it the machine just restarts nothing else happens... where am i going wrong i dont wanna go buy another tiger just in case its not gonna work and it will be a waste of money
